Which networks does Vista Social's DM automation actually cover?
Vista Social's DM automation runs on the networks it integrates with: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Snapchat, Bluesky, Reddit and Google Business. It describes itself as an official approved application on Meta and TikTok. LINE, WhatsApp and Telegram are not on its integrations page. If the conversations you want to automate happen on one of those three, this tool does not reach them — and that is the answer regardless of which country you're in.
What the automation actually does
Three things trigger it, according to Vista Social's own description:
- A keyword in a comment. You choose which comments or keywords fire an automated DM — the common case being a comment on a post or Reel that triggers a message with a link.
- An incoming DM.
- A mention.
The action is a message you've written in advance: text, a link, or an offer.
The company states it is "an official and approved application on Meta and TikTok (and all other social networks that we support)", which matters more than it sounds. Automated messaging on Meta platforms is API-gated, and tools operating outside approved channels tend to break without warning.
Where this stops working
The network isn't supported. This is the one that catches people out. The integrations page lists twelve networks, and the three most common dedicated messaging apps — LINE, WhatsApp and Telegram — are not among them. A social media scheduler and a messaging platform are different products, and Vista Social is the first kind. If your audience talks to you on a messaging app rather than in comments and DMs on a social network, this is the wrong category of tool, not a weaker option within it.
The country question isn't answered anywhere. We looked for documented regional or country availability for DM automation and did not find any — not on the DM automation page, and not on the integrations page. That is not the same as "it works everywhere." It means the vendor hasn't published a restriction, so the constraint you'll actually hit is whichever platform's API rules apply where you are, not a Vista Social setting.
If that matters to your decision, it's worth asking them directly rather than inferring — including from this page.
The plan. DM automation sits on paid plans; the Professional tier is published at $79/month for 15 profiles, 3 users and 10,000 DM contacts, and there is no permanent free tier. Verify the current figure on their pricing page before budgeting — per-profile products change more often than flat ones.
How to check it fits before you pay
- List the networks your conversations actually happen on. Not the ones you post to — the ones people reply on.
- Match that list against the integrations page, not against a comparison table. Integration lists change; comparison tables lag.
- If a messaging app is on your list, decide whether it's central. If it is, you need a messaging platform, and no scheduler will cover it.
- Check the DM contact allowance against your volume. 10,000 contacts on the Professional tier is a ceiling, not a rate.
How DM and inbox features look across the tools we catalogue
We catalogue 13 social media tools. Nine of them describe some form of DM, inbox or engagement-management capability — Typefully, Hypefury, Publer, SocialBee, Later, Hootsuite, Vista Social, Sprout Social and Planable. Four do not: Buffer, Metricool, Tailwind and Loomly.
That split matters more than the feature checkbox suggests. "Unified inbox" and "DM automation" are not the same thing. Most of the nine offer a place to read and reply to messages by hand. Vista Social's entry in our catalogue is one of the few that describes automating the reply rather than organising it.
When a comparison table gives both a tick, check which one you're getting.

Does Vista Social support LINE? LINE does not appear on its integrations page.
Does it support WhatsApp or Telegram? Neither appears on the integrations page either.
Is DM automation available in every country? Vista Social does not publish a regional restriction for it. That is not a guarantee of availability — it means the limits you meet will come from the underlying platform's rules rather than from Vista Social.
Is it approved by Meta? The company states it is an official approved application on Meta and TikTok.
What triggers an automated DM? A keyword in a comment, an incoming DM, or a mention.
Is there a free plan? No permanent free tier is published. DM automation sits on the paid plans.
